How It Works

  • TropiGolf Hole-In-One Challenge — Official Rules & Regulations

    1. Event Overview & Prize Cap

    • Promotion Dates: August 24, 2026 – October 4, 2026.

    • Location: TropiGolf, 125 N Pearl St, Pinckney, MI 48169.

    • Grand Prize: Pre-owned 2013 Jeep Wrangler Lifted 4x4 Sport (Insured Value: $13,000 USD). Actual Cash Value (ACV) may be evaluated by an independent third-party appraiser upon a winning claim.

    • Winner & Shot Limit: Maximum of one (1) grand prize winner. The promotion terminates immediately upon a verified winning shot or once a cumulative event total of 100 amateur shots has been taken across all participants.

    2. Player Eligibility & Authentication

    • Amateur Status: Open exclusively to registered USGA-defined Amateur golfers.

    • Ineligible Participants: Current or former professional golfers (PGA, LPGA, Mini-Tours), un-reinstated club professionals, and current or former collegiate golfers (NCAA, NAIA, JUCO) who have played at the collegiate level within the past six (6) years are strictly prohibited from participating or claiming prizes.

    • Account Login & Sign-In: Participants must log into their personal TrackMan account on the simulator prior to attempting their shot. Guest profiles are strictly ineligible to win. Every golfer must also register in the physical sign-in binder under staff supervision prior to taking their shot.

    3. Gameplay & Simulator Requirements

    • Attempt Limit: Strictly one (1) attempt per participant for the entire duration of the contest period.

    • Simulator Configuration: Managed via TrackMan Tournament software on the TrackMan iO system on Pebble Beach Hole No. 17. Settings (weather, course, difficulty) and pin placement are locked and unalterable.

    • Yardages: Men must play from a minimum of 165 yards. Women and Seniors (age 65+) must play from a minimum of 150 yards. Government-issued photo ID is required prior to shooting to verify Senior yardage eligibility.

    • Zero Practice/Mulligans: Practice shots into the screen, warm-ups on the contest hole, extra shots, or mulligans are strictly prohibited. Taking a practice swing into the target screen immediately disqualifies the attempt.

    4. Equipment & Valid Hole-In-One Criteria

    • Equipment: Must use USGA-conforming clubs and regulation golf balls.

    • Valid Attempt: The ball must be hit directly into the screen without touching external objects, surfaces, or individuals prior to impact.

    • In-Cup Rule: The simulated ball trajectory must result in the ball entering and remaining inside the simulated cup on screen. A simulated ball that enters but fails to remain in the cup does not constitute a winning attempt.

    5. Verification & Claim Conditions

    • Witnesses & Video: Shots are continuously video recorded by bay cameras showing the golfer, swing, screen impact, and on-screen result. Every attempt is observed by two (2) official non-playing witnesses.

    • Claim Audit: Winning claims require immediate export of TrackMan shot data, unedited video review, completion of sworn witness affidavits, and potential polygraph examinations administered by American Hole 'n One at their expense prior to payout.

      6. Insurance Contingency & Liability Limitation

      • Insurance Approval Requirement: Awarding of the Grand Prize is strictly subject to, and contingent upon, final claim verification and payout approval by the third-party coverage provider (American Hole 'n One / Distinguished Prize Indemnity LLC) under Contract #1176275G.

      • Claim Denial & Voiding of Prize: If the insurance provider denies or invalidates a claim for any reason—including, without limitation, administrative errors, technical non-compliance, simulator data errors, video recording discrepancies, or misinterpretation/misunderstanding of insurance contract warranties by contest organizers—the Grand Prize award will be deemed null and void.

      • Limitation of Personal Liability: TropiGolf assumes no financial obligation or liability to pay out, replace, or compensate any participant for the Grand Prize out-of-pocket if the insurance claim is rejected or invalidated by the insurer. All decisions by the insurance provider regarding claim validity are final.
